• block copolymer [BP]: a mixture of 95% polypropylene with approximately 5% polyethylene;

• polyamide [PA] or nylon: very tough, low UV resistance, wear-resistant, crackling sound, very shiny, feels oily, applied less often;

• polyethylene [PE]: soft and supple, high UV resistance, resistant against low temperatures, ability to restore spontaneously;

• polypropylene [PP]: inexpensive, quite tough, infilled rubber granules impair UV resistance in direct sunlight;

• monofilament: fiber has difficulty remaining upright and must preferably supported by infill material;

• fibrillated threads: wear out faster because there are more points of contact, good coverage of the infill material, as a result of which it is less visible and can hardly be noticed
